Are you kid friendly?
Yes, we allow minors/kids at the beer hall until 8pm. High-chairs are available for use.
How do I make a reservation?
Visit our reservation platform to make a reservation for groups of 6+. We do not take reservations over the phone. For private rentals or larger groups (15+ people), please email us at events@skalballard.com.
Is there a time limit for reservations?
Yes. Our reservations are for two hours unless previously arranged with us.
Do you have outside seating?
Yes, we have a covered and heated outdoor patio.
Do you have Trivia?
Yes, we host Trivia every Wednesday night at 7pm here in Ballard. $5 per person, cash prizes.
Do you allow dogs?
Yes, we allow all service dogs throughout the beer hall and other well-behaved dogs inside & outside in our covered pergola.
Can you sell beer and mead to go?
Yes, we can sell full bottles of mead & beer to take home. We also fill growlers of our draft beer, mead, and cider selection. We cannot ship products. We do not have a license to do so.
Where do I park?
There is free street parking available on Shilshole Ave, paid street parking on Ballard Ave, Market St, & 22nd Ave NW, and several paid public parking lots in Ballard. We do not have our own parking. See Parking Options
Do you allow outside food or alcohol?
No, we do not allow outside food or alcohol at the beer hall. For a celebration, we do allow desserts with a $25 service/plate fee if you inform us in advance.
Do you have Happy Hour?
Yes, we have the best damn Happy Hour in Ballard / Seattle on weekdays from open-6p! $2 off drafts, $10 cocktails, & kitchen menu starting at just $6!
Do you have air conditioning?
Yes, we have air conditioning.
Do you have TVs for sports?
Yes, while we are not focused on being a sports bar, we show local teams games and large national events like the Olympics, World Cup, etc.
